Back here at FireBlog HQ — where we’re launching a bigger and better than ever Fire Blog 2.0 — we noticed huge plumes of smoke coming from the East Village, perhaps around 6th Street and 2nd Avenue. After 10 minutes, the smoke dissipated. We’ll keep an eye on @FDNY for updates.
